Welcome to the Lake Inez Recreational Sites Homeowners Association website. This site provides convenient access to HOA announcements, meetings, governing documents, road information, community projects and Board communications.
The Association's governing documents emphasize residential and recreational use, maintenance and protection of common areas and private roadways, and preservation of the area's natural character.
Per the decision made at the Annual Meeting on July 18, 2026, the HOA is working on a survey to collect member feedback on the idea of adding a Dark Sky Lighting Covenant.
Additional information and the survey will be posted here when they are ready. Please check back for an opportunity to provide your feedback.
Dan Mahn has been in direct contact with Clarissa Orton from the Missoula County Noxious Weed Department and has toured Lake Inez with her. Tyrell Whipple is working to coordinate an in-person meeting to present the questions and concerns received from residents around the lake.
It is our understanding that the County has not yet selected a company to apply the treatment or determined which chemicals will be used. Our current perception is that the County plans to treat the white lilies in early Spring 2027. The forthcoming meeting is intended to hear concerns from residents before a contract is in place.
This announcement will be updated once a meeting time and location are set so HOA members have an opportunity to attend and participate. If you know of additional questions or concerns that residents would like presented to the County, please contact Tyrell.
The annual burn pile and tree thinning event will start at 9:00 AM on Sunday, October 25 at the HOA Burn Pile. We will share a potluck meal after a few hours of work.

The Covenants authorize the Association's Board to maintain private roadways within the property and to take appropriate steps to protect common areas. This section can serve as the public record of current maintenance notices and Board-approved projects.
